I have a few July releases on my summer TBR, I can’t wait to read them very soon! Your quilting is very inspiring, I’ve wanted to learn how to quilt for awhile but haven’t found a teacher yet…can I teach myself? And I’m not a jam maker, but in the Fall, I make heaps of applesauce to eat throughout the year!
Yay for homemade applesauce, Jessica! YUM. As for quilting, you definitely can teach yourself. My mom taught me how to sew when I was a pretty little kid, but I taught myself how to follow quilt patterns and basting and top stitching and binding as an adult. If you have a local quilt shop, they probably have someone who could show you the basics on a machine if you don’t already sew, otherwise just use the manual of your machine for the mechanics, and then YouTube will be your best friend ;-)
The jam looks amazing. My grandmother always had homemade strawberry jam ready to go and we all called it (and still call it!) “red stuff” - it was childhood staple. Thanks for the July book tips!
So many books to add to my list! Always appreciate the work you put into bringing us these lists and your reviews of the books. Enjoy your sibling reunion and travel safely.
Loved reading this Katy, I'll be browsing your Bookshop July books over coffee:) I'm happy to see that you enjoyed The Cliffs, The Wedding People, and the new Ethan Joella, all of those are on my must read July tbr.

I love that you called it “red stuff” - that’s exactly what it is! Twice as much sugar as strawberries - ha!

I’m so happy this is helpful for you, Marcia!! I hope you have a chance to read a few of these titles ♡

I can’t wait to hear what you think of them, Renee!
Great recs - thank you! I'm putting these on the Library Haul list. Have a lovely vacay! 🌻
I already read and loved The Same Bright Stars and A Certain Kind of Starlight, but I see several more I just can't wait to get to.
Please let me know your thoughts on the ones you choose to read!
It’s Elementary is on my tbr. I really hope it works for me!
I hope it does! I loved the dry humor and the blatant take-on of racism
