IT'S HERE! The Falling for Romance Collection
65+ titles to make your romance dreams come true
Hello readers! Today is the big release day of one of the projects I have been wanting to create for years, and somehow managed to finish during one of my busiest months to-date. I hope you love this epic collection of swoon-worthy, smart and thought-provoking romance titles!
Curating the Falling for Romance Collection
I have been reading romance since late middle school when I first found a Danielle Steele book and was introduced to a dreamy world I could just fall into, leaving my real life behind. Over the years, I devoured everything my public library had on its shelves, but had to take a break in the early 2000s when everything really just felt ….. the same. I couldn’t have been happier when self-published titles became readily available on Kindle, and romance had its major diversity reckoning in the 20-teens. That was when traditionally published romances started to become increasingly less white and heteronormative ~ and when I dove back in full-force.
Romances also started to get quirkier and began featuring more and more heroines who don’t wear pencil skirts and heels, don’t work in an office, and are whip-smart and forceful. They breastfeed openly, they eat all the food, they let their bellies hang out and their hair go gray, and *gasp* sometimes they earn more money than men do! The queer romance scene is an absolute delight these days, and hot damn, there are men of all sexual identities expressing emotions and working jobs other than billionaire! Who knew!?
When curating this collection, I focused on the books I adored that feature original protagonists, unique storylines, quirky characters, rich supporting characters, and atmospheric settings. Yes, there are definitely still some traditional white m/f couples, but there is something about each of even those stories that set these books apart from the massively saturated general romance market.
My goal? To introduce romance readers to titles that make you think, grow, and fall in love with the genre, whether for the first time, or all over again.
