Oh what a joyful newsletter--I laughed so hard at the opener. :o) In many ways, it's easier to be seasonal with littles because of their enthusiasm, so the older we and the children get, it's important to keep going. What a wonderful weekend.

Great book recs as always (*takes notes) and immediately following the romance newsletter.

Yes! The littles and their enthusiasm and the societal expectation that these are the things you must do with littles. I love that my older teens still want to participate in these things!

I got my flu shot but they didn’t have Covid at my PCP and I was very annoyed I ended up testing positive for Covid the day before I had scheduled it at CVS! But it gave me the chance to finish 2 books and watch Nobody Wants This last week. I read Sanctuary by Paola Mendoza and Abby Sher and What Does it Feel Like? by Sophie Kinsella.

I’m grateful you felt well enough to read while you were sick!! I do my vaccines at Walgreens now - much more convenient for me that trying to do so at our clinic!

Aren't they gorgeous? Apparently they were inspired by a recipe inspired by the Fantastic Mr. Fox movie ;-)

Thanks for introducing me to Alyssa's Substack. Running to read those articles now. Seems like you had a very festive weekend! I read Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks this month and really enjoyed it! I was hoping it would have more paranormal or fall vibes but it didn't. Still, a fun romance with lots of great representation.
