20 Romance Novels I Can't Wait to Read

Hello readers! Today I’m getting into the nitty gritty of figuring out my changing tastes in the romance genre and also sharing 20 titles releasing this January - March that are at the top of my romance TBR. I am so excited to share these with you!

Close readers here may have noticed that my reading has been on the heavier side lately¹, and that’s a direct course correction after a very disenchanting attempt at following my past practice of reading a lot of holiday romance stories in December. I quickly discovered that I had almost no patience for many of them published this year, and have been nervous about reading much in the genre since.

I also noticed that when I was perusing catalogs of forthcoming releases in Edelweiss and reading reviews in Kirkus and Publishers Weekly, etc, that I just wasn’t all that excited about as many of the romances being released this year as I used to be.

I put on my librarian thinking cap, my friends, and I realized that there is now a pretty sizeable mismatch between what I thought I liked, and what I’m actually liking in the genre.

It’s time to re-calibrate.
